The introduction of SLBG RADIANT BARRIER PAINT ADDITIVE is directly due to research done through the NASA technology exchange program. Their similar ceramic technology was used to dissipate heat from the Space Shuttle upon atmospheric re-entry. preventing the shuttle from burning.

WHAT IS SLBG ?

SLBG is a very fine white powder that is a formulation of hollow micro Reflective spheres that reflect and dissipate heat.

 

SLBG when mixed with any paint or coating transforms it into a radiant barrier coating which will reflect and dissipate radiant heat, reducing heat transfer through roofs, attics, exterior &  interior walls, ceilings, or any other paintable surface that absorbs heat.

THE SECRET

SLBG is formulated to have very small reaction to radiant and microwave type frequencies.

With very little molecular movement there is very little friction, so very little heat

The small micron size hollow glass Reflective sphere which in part make up SLBG treated coatings are formulated with sodium borosilicate.

(Boron is a known natural Fungicide & Pesticide.)

 

Each closed cell is smaller in diameter than a human hair acts ass an efficient insulator and reflector.

 

Once applied, in (Paint) the solvent evaporates from the HS topcoat and the hollow microspheres align with each other eventually touching, them fuse into a continues membrane, the seamless SLBG topcoat.

And since the Reflective spheres are over 60% void, the entire coating becomes like a flat thermos bottle.
